Carolyn was like a sister to me. We talked frequently on the phone. I will miss our talks tremendously. She was a wonderful neighbor to my son Dave. He would check up on her to see if she needed anything and go to her mailbox and get her mail for her. When ever we visited her, her house was spotlessly clean, everything in place and not a speck of dust on anything. She and I shared so many memories each time we talked. She was great friends with my son Dennis as well and called to comfort me when he tragically passed away. She and I were secretaries in Dansville Schools. We shared so many stories of our experiences. I loved this dear woman as a sister. I know she is safe in the arms of Jesus and some glorious day I’ll see her again and wrap her in my arms. What a day that will be.

Carolyn was the school secretary when I was a DHS student, and a few years later, I had the pleasure of working with her when I was a secretary in the guidance office. We had many fun times that I remember with great fondness. I recall her devotion to her son and can only imagine how delighted she was with her growing family. Condolences to all.

We are sorry for your loss. Caroline was such a sweet person; she will live on in your memories forever. like to express our sorrow and condolences to you and your family. Very sweet lady, every time she called for rick to plow her driveway, she always gave him small loaves of banana bread she made, i had to ask her how much you put in the pans. half a cup batter. even bought the pans, .

Carolyn, you have been my friend since I came to Dansville in the 1960s. I think we were the first in the building day after day, year after year. I remember the day I arrived only 15 minutes before school time and you and Mr. Goodwin were worried that I had the day off and no one thought to get a sub. Turned out that I had to clean out the driveway to get my car to the road. RIP my old friend.
