Obituary of Grace Ann Church

The family of Grace Ann Church of Sparta, NY is saddened to announce her passing on May 22nd, 2025 at the age of 86 years. She was a resident at the LCCNR. Her family would like to thank the staff at the LCCNR for their generous care over the last several years. She was born in Rochester, NY. A daughter of Louis A and Lilien (Lang) Geisler who preceded her in death. Grace will be lovingly remembered by her twin daughters Jackie Weidman and Marilyn (Norbert) Kimbel. Sons Randy and Larry Church. Grandchildren Josh (Linsey) Weidman, Caitlin Weidman (Henry), Corey Kimbel, Kiley Kimbel (Joseph), Alyssa (Owen) Peaty, Randy Church Jr (Tracy), and Katie Church. A sister Dody (Jeff) Flynn. Nephews Benjamin and Daniel Flynn. Several great grandchildren and friends. We remember and celebrate the life Grace lived, and the lives she touched. Her infectious spirit was contagious. She always wanted to make people feel special whether it meant giving them a smile, or giving them a gift to remember her by. Even in her darkest moments she always found a way to make you laugh.Grace was a wonderful artist and had won several awards for her artwork over the years. If you gave her a pen and asked her to draw, she could make anything come to life in her work. She paid great attention to detail which showed in her work as an automotive detailer for both Miller Pontiac and Snyder Collision. Her loving and giving heart shined brightly through her passion of helping animals. She loved animals of all types and owned several horses, pigs, cats, and dogs in her lifetime. She would never turn away an animal that needed rescuing, and even worked for lollipop farm to help care for them. Her family meant the world to her and she loved reminiscing about memories. She loved to read and although this chapter may be over, the story of Grace's love remains eternally open. We ask that you respectfully keep Grace in your thoughts and memories. Her family is planning a celebration of her life on Saturday June 7 from 3:30 to 6:30 pm at the Conesus American Legion, 6317 Marshall Rd. Conesus, NY. at a later date.
