Dansville- Alice Marie Parsons age 68 passed away early Wednesday afternoon December 30, 2015, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester from complications of an illness.
She was in Dansville on June 20, 1947, a daughter of Erwin and Margaret (Schutz) Johnson. She was predeceased by her father Erwin and her husband, Earl "Bud" Parsons.
She was retired from Forbes Products in Dansville. Alice and Bud had attended the Scottsburg United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her mother Margaret Johnson of Dansville, children, Bill (Ruthann) Cobb of KY, Scott (Billie Jo) Cobb of Dansville, Rodney (Amanda) Cobb of Mt. Morris and Matthew (Barbara) Cobb of Akron, NY, step-children Robert (Vicki) Parsons of Dansville, Tina (Burt) Burns of Arkport, two brothers, William (Sandi) Johnson of FL, and Larry (Deborah) Johnson of CA, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday January 4, at 11:00 at Greenmount Cemetery in Dansville. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St., Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
