My heart goes out to you in the loss of your parents. They were the best neighbors - and I will always remember your mother's smile. It lit up her entire face, and she was always smiling. (I still have the turtle-shaped stapler she gave me as a high school graduation gift!) Your parents were very special people, you were lucky to have them around for so many years.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom, Gramma, Aunt, cousin.... She was a great neighbor, teacher, friend, and advocate. I will always remember her smile which made her face glow with the love she had inside. I never had her for a teacher but, I know those who did and all loved her. She had a dynamic spirit and it showed in everything she did. I had no idea how involved she was in the community but, it makes sense that she would be. We just lost our Mom last spring. It's not something that takes time to recover from. you never not miss your Mom. Again I am sorry for your loss.

Mrs. Rauber was the sweetest person I know. I loved being in her typing and shorthand class. Visited her several times when going to Dansville. She and her husband will certainly be missed. Our condolences to all the family.

So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was my Business/Shorthand teacher in the 60's and was the the very best and kindest teacher to all her students.
She also never forgot her pupils and always spent time to catch up with you when you would see her around town.
May God comfort each of you with the fact that your Mom and Dad are together always.

There are no words to describe our dear friend Mary Ellen. She was an inspiration to me and I learned much from her over the many years of our friendship. She and Emery shared many martinis and memories together over the years. I used to joke with her that she was "The Grand Dame" of Dansville. Because we believe, we know we will see both she and her beloved Tom again in Heaven. The Angels are rejoicing today! Love Emery and Jeannie

My sincerest sympathies goes out to all the family. I loved your Mother and consider our friendship a very important part of my life. We had such great times on Friday morning and in our Red Hats. She and your Dad had a great love for each other and for their family. So many memories! I won't be able to attend any of the services because I am leaving for London tomorrow but I want you all to know that I will there in spirit. Once again, please accept my sympathy - I will always remember her with love.

Mrs. Rauber was one of my heroes. She was my Shorthand II and Transcription teacher for two years, but what she taught me has lasted my entire work career and influenced my personal life as well. At a time in my life when I needed someone to talk to and be treated as an equal rather than a teenager, she was there. She was so caring, generous in giving of herself, and wholeheartedly supportive. All those who knew her were very fortunate indeed.
Mrs. Rauber, you sure left your mark on the world. Heaven has gained a wonderful new angel.
