Obituary of Joann Margaret Kendall

Dansville –Joann M. Kendall age 78, passed away early Thursday afternoon February 24, 2022, at her home in Dansville. She was born in Wayland NY on November 1, 1943, a daughter of the late Jacob G. and Margaret E. (Teeter) Fox Sr. On November 4, 1961, she was married to Frank J. Kendall who predeceased her on February 25, 2007. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Arlene Dunning, Deborah Cuozzo, William, John and Jacob Fox Jr. She was a devoted communicant of the Holy Family Catholic Community at St. Mary's Church in Dansville, where she was active with the Legion of Mary, the Rosary Prayer Group, and delivered home communion to shut ins. She was also a member of the CSEA. In her free time, she enjoyed feeding the birds, word search puzzles, spending time with her family, and playing solitaire on her computer. She is survived by her beloved dog Polly, two daughters Linda (Mike) Mathieson, Ann (Chris) McIntosh, two sons Lee (Michelle) Kendall and David (Darla) Kendall. Grandchildren Christopher (Meghann), Matthew (Tera), Alexandrea, Caeleb, Logan, and Abigail Kendall, Marc (Heather), Adam (Leanne) and Kyle McIntosh, Meeghan (Michael) Alberti, and Zachrey (Sianna) Hubbard and Melissa (Phil) Wallace; great grandchildren Peyton, Aiden, Cullen, and Silas Kendall, Valencia Alberti, Jaxton McIntosh and Avery Wallace and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends may call Monday from 3 to 6 PM at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church in Dansville. Interment will be next to beloved husband Frank in St. Mary's Cemetery, Canaseraga.
