Obituary of John Wiseman

Dansville- John Wiseman age 64, passed away Sunday May 22 at his home in Hampton VA after a short illness. He was born in Dansville, on February 23, 1958, a son of Robert and Colleen ( Whalen) Wiseman. He was predeceased by a nephew, John Chasey and brother in law, Rich Chasey. During John's high school years, he developed an interest in photography, bowling and a life long love of music. Soon after graduation, he moved to Virginia to pursue a job opportunity and lived there for the remainder of his adult life. John was a fun loving guy and had a great sense of humor which endeared him to many. He had a large community of friends which included those that he had worked with as well as his golf buddies. He played many courses throughout Virginia, North and South Carolina and travelled to Myrtle Beach with golf friends every Spring for many years. John was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and anticipated their games each Sunday. We know that John will be beside us still, cheering on the team. John is survived by two sisters, Donna Chasey of Dansville, Robin (Mike) Masten of Geneseo his brother James ( Nikki) of Bradford PA and many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle John so much. A graveside service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetary in Dansville NY in the near future. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville.
