Merry always had her door open and the coffee pot on when she knew we were coming. She was a good friend and we shared time together, our lives were not the easiest but she stayed faithful to what and who she believed in. Her family was always first in her life. Loren, Merry and my last husband, Al, and I made a trip to Nashville to the Grand Ole' Opry where we had front seats. Merry drove and we laughed because to find our hotel we had to go around the blocks that were all right hand turns, if I remember correctly we made at least six trips around and around. We had shared a room at Best Western and the morning we were leaving, Loren had reached to pull himself up by the headboard. Well, all was well until the headboard gave way and tumbled down on their heads. We laughed along time about that adventure. I loved her smile and laugh. God Bless and keep the family safe.
