Dansville- Sheila Maureen Fox age 75, passed away early Wednesday morning, November 2, 2022, at Noyes Memorial Hospital following an illness.
She was born in Bath NY, on September 30, 1947, a daughter of the late Harold and MaryEllen (Shoens) Polmateer, she was also predeceased by her sister Sharon Briggs, and her brother Franklin Polmateer. In 1966 she was married to James Fox who survives.
Sheila was an LPN for 50+ years working for Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, as well as the Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris. She was an avid bowler competing in the Tuesday night women's league in Dansville and then the Mt. Morris league following the closing of Brae Burn.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years James and their children, Teresa (Dennis) Gilbert, James (Tamara) Fox II, and Pete (Laurali) Fox, eight grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
