Obituary of Timothy Robert Barrett

Dansville- Timothy R. Barrett age 61, passed away early Wednesday morning December 21, 2022, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester after an extended illness. He was born in Batavia on April 22, 1961, a son of the late Richard and Janelle (O'Farrell, Barrett) Phillips who survives.. He was also predeceased by a brother Todd Barrett and Stepfather Harold Phillips. Tim was 1979 graduate of Geneseo Central School. He went on to a 33-year career at Eastman Kodak in Rochester as a roll coater and was currently a School Bus driver for Dansville Central School. He was a Lifetime Member of the Dansville Ambulance Company. In his free time, he enjoyed boating on Conesus Lake, watching NASCAR and a love of the Buffalo Bills. Tim was proud that he had purchased his first Harley Davidson motorcycle last summer. He was a faithful member of the Foursquare Fellowship Church in Dansville. Tim was a jokester with a great sense of humor, always playing pranks on his family and friends. Tim was a man that could always be counted on in a time of need to anyone. He is survived by his children, Danielle (David) Johnson, Brian (Mariah Olmeda) Barrett, Casey (Nikki) Barrett, and William (Teah) Barrett, his mother, Janelle Phillips, a sister, Lynn (Bill) Dockstader, William's mother, Kathleen Reifsteck, seven grandchildren, a nephew and two nieces, whom he adored, and many friends. Friends and family may call from 10 am to 12pm on Wednesday December 28th, 2022, at the Dansville Foursquare Church 49 West Ave., where a funeral service will be held following calling hours at 12, Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville.
