Dansville- Shirley A. Harper age 62, passed early Friday morning January 20, 2023, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville following an extended illness.
She was born in Hornell on April 7, 1960, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Blake) Kruchten. She was predeceased by her daughter Elizabeth Kruchten, siblings Mary Kendall and Donald and James Byroads.
Shirley enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends. She was formerly employed on a dairy farm in Perry.
She is survived by her children, Denise (Reamore) Wheeler, Peter (Stacy) Wheeler, Tim (Tammy) Wheeler, Shirley H. (Joe) Cox, a sister Kathy Brueser, Joanne M. Kruchton, and two brothers Peter and Joe Kruchten, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and Toby the dog.
Friends may call Tuesday from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc. 271 Main St. Dansville, where services will follow calling hours. Interment will be at a later date in Union Cemetery Scottsburg. Online remembrances may be left at HindlefuneralHome.com.
