My sincere sympathy to the family in the loss of Barbara. I have many fond memories of her and Bill in days gone by. They were both very caring people and would lend a hand wherever it was needed. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

To all of the Mitchell Family members
Aunt Barb was such a special aunt to all! John practically lived at the Mitchell household his growing up years and the farm and the family meant the world to him. Everyone had fun when with Aunt Barb and the gang--weddings, birthday parties, reunions, you name it --she was the "hostess with the mostess!" Best cook and baker around, but her hospitality and making sure all felt at home was her greatest gift to everyone. She will be missed but how wonderful for her that she now joins her soulmate after way too many years apart. May Aunt Barb "rest in peace"!
Our hearts go out to you~~~

Our family had so many great times at the Mitchell’s, first at the farm and then on the hill. Barb’s door was open to everyone. She and Bill were like family. She was such a good friend to my mother and dad. I will always remember her kindness and loving nature.

Beth, Bonnie, Brett and family,
I am so sorry that Aunt Barb has gone to greener pastures. I loved talking to her in the bank holding up other customers. Some of my favorite times was our family reunions at her house. I will miss her humor and charm dearly. Please know you are all in my prayers.

Barb was always gracious and glad to take time to chat when we met at the grocery store. When those times came to a halt due to her health I felt like a good friend was missing. I had the opportunity to meet the Mitchell family in the early 70s and always enjoyed the foolishness of Bill, the patience of Barb, and the rowdiness of their children. I send to you deep sympathy and fond remembrances in the loss of your mother. Remember her at her best times and let the rest go. She was loved and will be missed.

Dear Brett, Donna and Mitchell families, my sincere condolences to you on the passing of your dear Mother, Grandmother and friend. I had the pleasure of meeting Barbara when visiting with Donna and Brett.
I learned how to make pierogis that weekend and shared the joy of making lobster bisque with Donna and Brett. We dined at Barbara’s home and laughed and talked about family and fun times. An amazing woman with an amazing long life and family whom she loves so.
May she rest in eternal peace.
