Obituary of Joyce Janet Wambold

Dansville- Joyce Janet Wambold age 92, passed away peacefully on Sunday March 5, 2023, at the Livingston County CFNR in Mt. Morris. She was born in Dansville, on March 25, 1930, a daughter of the late Carl and Bertha (Rook) Englert. On July 7th 1950 she was married to Perry Wambold, who predeceased her in 2008. She was also predeceased by her son Timmy, her brother, Carl "Sonny" Englert Jr., and a grandson, Greg Nickerson. Joyce was a homemaker, who took great care of her husband, children, and grandchildren. She enjoyed canning and loved working outside in the garden. She enjoyed taking long walks on Logan rd. with her husband. She worked as an LPN for craig colony development center in SONYEA for 25 years. Surviving Joyce, are her daughters, Linda Schneider. Bonnie (Blake) Nickerson, a son, Dana (Pattie) Wambold, daughter in-law, Laurie Wambold, a sister, Carol Novak, brothers, Ronald, John, Gerald, William, and Lawrence Englert, eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St., Dansville, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday 11:00am.
