So many great memories of this amazing woman... my only Aunt. She lived an exceptional long life and I already miss her so much! Family gatherings for the holidays and camp cookouts, being invited to come over and spend the night (or the weekend) with my cousins, elaborate handmade birthday cakes, her homemade apple pies and sugar cookies, her baked beans, her fancy paper mache and chicken wire Halloween costumes which were proudly worn in so many parades, decorating her home for every holiday...inside and out, hiking in the woods with her and my Dad...looking for lady slippers, picking huckleberries at the camp, exploring abandoned buildings, sled rides up on the hill, swimming in the creek, family yard sales, so many beloved pets and wild animal rescues, her beautiful flowers and gardens, her wonderful sense of humor...always a practical joker, her mischievous laugh and warm smile, her sympathetic ear when I was upset. I could go on and on. She was the glue that held us together. I love you ❤
Your niece,
Janet Schryver

So sorry to hear of Lois’s passing. All loved her, and she will be cherished in memories forever. She was a great woman who was admired by many and wore many hats as Wife, Mother, Parade Participant, Clerk, Secretary, etc. I especially enjoyed working along side with her on the Board of Ed for 20+ years in the school district and briefly chatting with her when she happened to walk by the house on her daily long walks throughout the community. I loved seeing and will miss her Holiday decorations in front of the house witch were enjoyed by everyone upon entering the Village. May her soul rest in peace! No words can describe how sorry I am for your loss. Condolences to your family. She was a legend.

I will always remember you for your glowing personality, endless energy, your beautiful flowers and holiday yard
decor as well as a kind friend to my sons when they were in school. I always wondered how you could remember people's names even after you hadn't seen them in years.
Now face to face with our creator, I know you will rest in eternal peace.

I have so many memories of Lois. Deanne and I were in the same class so saw her mother alot during and after school. She and Mrs. Berry were our Blue Blue leaders and we made so many wonderful crafts. I would also help her out in the office when I was taking typing class. I never knew where she stored all her decorations for the house and yard. There were lots of them!!! She did alot of walking and I used to ask her if she wanted a ride to the bank. She always said no because she had to keep going or she would stop. Lois was a fixture in Canaseraga and she will be missed. Prayers and thoughts to Deanne, Dean and their families. Debbie Wilson

Words are hard to come. I feel like I have been a part of her family my whole life and Lois treated us that way. Whenever we returned to town to vist, she was the second stop after settling in, spending time at her house just chatting about everything imaginable.
Lois was a treasure to all of us that knew and loved her. Many blessings to her wonderful family.
