Obituary of Eric Conrad Derrenbacher

Texas-Eric Conrad Derrenbacher, age 64, died unexpectedly on Monday, September 25, 2023, at his home in Frisco, Texas. Eric was born in Dansville, NY and lived in Springwater until after his graduation. He spent four years as a photojournalist in the U.S. Army stationed in Honolulu Hawaii. Eric moved to Texas in 1983. He worked for M/A/R/C Inc. for several years as a technology help desk manager. He then spent almost 20 years working for Buchanan Technologies and was contracted to Mary Kay Cosmetics as a manager in an IT department. Eric married his beloved wife Carrie (Clark) Derrenbacher in 1994 and Carrie's son Dan Rogge rounded out their family. The love of Eric's life and soul mate, Carrie, passed away in 2007. Eric is predeceased by his parents Gordon Derrenbacher and Dorothea (VanDerwereken) Derrenbacher. Eric is survived by his sisters Stacy Menz, Kim Derrenbacher and Katrina Derrenbacher, along with nieces Danyelle (Tom) Westbrook, Mallory (Matt) Muoio, Michelle Mease and nephew Joshua Menz. He also is survived by great-nephews Andrew Westbrook, Ryan Westbrook and Maverick Muoio. Eric took great pride in completing the NY Times crossword puzzle in entirety every single day for the past few years. He enjoyed nature, animals, technology, Korean movies and had an extensive variety and knowledge of music. Services will be held privately at a later date.
