Dansville- Diane Marie Shepherd age 67, passed away Thursday February 29, 2024, at FF Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua, following an illness. She was born in Dansville, on February 13, 1957, a daughter of the late Franics E. and Jo Ann (Stein) Donovan Sr. Diane was also predeceased by her husband Henry in 2021. Diane worked as a nurse for home health care, until a motorcycle accident left her disabled. In her free time, she enjoyed watching tv, especially Rachel Ray and the lifetime channel. Christmas and Easter were some of her favorite holidays. She enjoyed being in nature, and spending time with her family, dogs, cats, and friends. Diane is survived by her daughters, Mary (Victor) Randolph, Elizabeth (Dakota Higgins) Shepherd, her brothers, Francis Donovan Jr., Lane Racett, sisters, Susanne Partridge, and Ruth (Robert) Walker, several nieces, and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday March 8, 2024, 10:00am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 38 Elizabeth St. Dansville, NY 14437. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery Dansville.
