Dansville- Ronald Edward King Jr., age 59 passed away Tuesday morning October 1, 2024, at Millard Fillmore Hospital in Amherst after being transferred from the Wyoming County Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility. He was born in Rochester, Pennsylvania on November 18, 1964, a son of Margaret "Peg" Lerch and stepson of Michael Lerch. Ronald was formerly employed by the Livingston/Wyoming ARC for over 20 years. He enjoyed the time he spent there and was once recognized as employee of the year. Ron was an avid crafter, he enjoyed making gifts for his loved ones, and decorative pieces to display throughout his home. Ron was a lifelong Jeff Gordon fan and loved to collect memorabilia for the number 24 car. In his younger years, Ron loved to be outside, driving/riding anything with wheels, and getting into mischief with his brother Dennis. He is survived by his mother and stepfather Peg and Mike Lerch, two daughters Christina and Katelynn King, grandson Jayse Prickett, two brothers, Dennis King and Charles (Chuck) King and two nieces, Natasha King and Cindy King, and a nephew Charles King. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com. Memorials may be made to Arc GLOW or Jeff Gordon Children's Foundation.
