Georgene became my "sister" in 1977. I loved her deeply and will miss her terribly. Everyone speaks of her contagious laugh, and I can hear it still. I know she is in a better place, but I will miss her always. Norm,Joe, Jess, Zach, & Ben...I love all of you and will always be here for you. Georgene is with the angels now and probably showing them how to do scrap booking. Love you George!

Norm, Joey, Ben, Jessica, Zach, and families, Words cannot express how sorry we are to hear of our dear friend leaving us. She was influential in bringing Sheila out of my self-conscious, shy self; and made living in Belle Creek, MT a fun-filled chapter in our lives. We never new what color hair she'd end up with. She, Linda Hurley, and I were sometimes called the Three Musketeers, with the antics we'd come up with, and always with our combined children in tow. We missed her from afar; now we will miss her even more. May God give you strength and courage in the coming months. We are only a phone call away if you need us. I met Georgene when I was a young girl and would spend summers with my sister, Sheila (Harold) Baker, in Belle Creek, Montana. I remember her infectious laugh and always having a smile and helpful hand for anyone. My heart and prayers go out to Norm and the kids and their families at this difficult time.
God's Peace!

Jessica, Zach & Casey,
We are so sorry to hear about your Mom. We will always remember her shining smile every time we brought one of our children to Stony Brook. She always smiled and put the kids at ease. We also will always remember the pride she showed when Casey walked down the aisle to Zach on their wedding day. So many memories will bring you so much comfort once the pain starts to ebb. She touched so many people with her kindness. Our thought are with you all. She will be truly missed.

So sorry to hear about your mom. Momma Scott had a way of making everyone feel loved and special. You're all in my thoughts and prayers.
Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, May looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.

You don't know me, but somehow I feel like I know you. Georgene has been a bright star in my life for 19 years. I knew her from "the other side of the glass" at the doctor's office. Georgene was always a bright star for me. While I was one of thousands to troop through that door with a sick kid, she always made me feel like I was special. I always kidded her about being "Mean Georgene" but it was really apparent that she was a very kind and loving person, especially to those kids of hers at home. So, I extend my sympathy to you and to Stony Brook, because you all have lost a wonderful, fun, and loving friend and mom. May the smile of her memories help ease all of your pain. Thoughtfully, Amy Phelps
