God looked around his Garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon his earth and saw her loving face.
He put his arms around her and lifted her to rest.
His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.
He knew that she was suffering, he knew she was in pain.
And knew that she would never get well on earth again.
He saw her path was difficult, he closed her tired eyes,
He whispered to her "Peace be Thine" and gave her wings to fly.
When we saw her sleeping so calm and free of pain,
We would not wish her back to earth to suffer once again.
She left you precious memories, her love will be your guide,
She'll live on through her children, she'll always be by your side.
It broke our hearts to lose her, but she did not go alone.
For part of EVERY ONE OF US went with her on the day God called her home.
