Livonia/Dansville- Edward U. Farley age 82, of Big Tree Rd., in Livonia, passed away early Friday evening March 13, 2009, in the Emergency Room at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville after being stricken at home. He was born in Avon on June 2, 1926, a son of the late Clarence and Laura (Gilbert) Farley. He was also predeceased by his first wife Margaret (Havens) Farley and siblings Marion and Clayton Farley.He was a truck driver for the NYS DOT in Lakeville for many years. He enjoyed hunting, ice fishing and spending time with his family.He is survived by his wife, Leona (Conklin) Farley of Livonia. His children, (Ronald (Katherine) Farley of Dansville, Robert Farley of Avon, Daniel (Maureen) Collins of Groveland, Caroline (Melvin) Thomas of Dansville, Elaine (Bob) Morf of Dansville, Thomas Collins of Swain and Darlene (Robert) Rawleigh also of Dansville. Two brothers, Gordon (Gladys) Farley of Honeoye, Richard Farley of Avon, and a sister Lillian Clark also of Avon. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.Friends may call Wednesday from 11:00 to 1:00pm at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc., 271 Main St. Dansville. Interment with will be in Evergreen Covered Bridge Cemetery in Springwater.
