Obituary of Gary L. Rawleigh

He was born in Hornell, on August 22, 1949, a son of the late LeGrande and Margaret (Wallace) Rawleigh. On March 20, 1972, he was married to Barbara (Neu) Rawleigh who survives. He was also predeceased by brother in-law Ronald Neu. Gary was formerly employed at Baker Commodities in Rochester, Foster Wheeler in Dansville and currently at the former G-M Precast in Mt. Morris. He was a member of the SAL at the Daniel Goho Post # 87 of the American Legion in Dansville. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, decorating his lawn with blow up displays at the holidays, "Garfield" and bears.Surviving in addition to his dear wife Barb, are two sons, John (Kim) Rawleigh of Dansville, and David Rawleigh of South Dansville, two daughters, Angel (Al) Lowery and Wendy (Mike) Dueppengiesser both of Perry. He is also survived by his mother in-law Ada Neu, and sisters and brothers in-law, Nancy Neu, Lori Neu, Jane (John) Seward, and Milton (Gail) Neu, eleven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St, Dansville, where services will be held on Monday at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, South Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.Memorial contributions may be made to Daniel Goho Post #87 of The American Legion or the Dansville United Methodist Church.
