Obituary of Leo Frank Schledorn

Dansville- Leo Frank Schledorn age 79, passed away early Wednesday morning November 4, 2009, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville.He was born in Dansville, on April 18, 1930, a son of the late Martin and Donna (Gibson) Schledorn. On April 22, 1952, he was married to Doris (Schultz) Schledorn. He was also predeceased by three sisters, Dorothy, Helen and Agnes.Leo was a carpenter for Bennett Brothers Construction of Dansville for 20 years. He was a graduate of Dansville Central School. Leo was a US Marine Corps veteran and member of the Daniel Goho Post # 87 of the American Legion, a member of the James H. Jackson Hose Company of the Dansville Volunteer Fire Department, and a member the Powers Inn Club.Surviving in addition to his wife, Doris, are five sons; Peter Schledorn of Rochester, Thomas Schledorn, Martin (Lorna) Schledorn, Richard (Natalie) Schledorn all of Dansville, and Joseph (Sally) Schledorn of Cortland, three daughters, Donna (Rod) Schneble, Betty (Tim) Schledorn and Barbara (Bill) Levee all of Dansville. Special granddaughter, Tracey (D.J.) Butters, 20 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.Friends may call Friday from 2- 4 and 6-8 PM. at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc., 271 Main St. Dansville.
