Obituary of Charles J. Antinore

Dansville-Charles J. "Chuck" Antinore Jr., age 79, well known longtime barber from Dansville, passed away early Monday afternoon December 28, 2009, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. He was born in Leroy, NY on January 28, 1930, a son of the late Charles J. and Lena (Frito) Antinore Sr. He was also predeceased by his wife Barbara Antinore, a son Charles J. Antinore III, and a sister Rosalee Antinore Mangefrida. Chuck with his dear friend Ralph Howard owned and operated "Chuck & Ralph's" Barber Shop in Dansville for many years. After he retired from the Dansville shop he would continue his barbering at a shop in Florida. He was a US ARMY Korean Veteran and member of the Daniel Goho Post # 87 of the American Legion, a former member of the Loyal Order of the Moose # 1130 of Dansville. He was a communicant of the Holy Family Catholic Community at St. Mary's Church in Dansville. He enjoyed camping, playing cards, and was the proud owner of a prize race horse at one time. He is survived by his children, Catherine (Bill) Rawlings of Livonia, Donna (Bob) Bianco of NC, Joanne (Robin Higgins) Antinore and David Antinore all of Rochester. Four grandchildren, Tony Isaman, Natalie (Jim) Kuhn, Salar Antinori, and Jordyn Antinore. Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00am at St. Mary's Church in Dansville, followed by full military honors.
