Olean- Betty G. Jones 87, formerly of Promised Land Rd., in Olean passed away Thursday morning at Wellsville manor Nursing Home in Wellsville.
She was born in McKean County Pennsylvania, on February 17, 1923, a daughter of the late Elmer and Jessie (Sherwood) Kurtz. She was predeceased by her husband William Jones. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Elmer Jr., Francis Kurtz, Barbara Constanza, Peggy Gabriel and Gloria Cuzzo.
Betty is survived by her children, Charles (Betty Ann) Becker of NH, David Becker of Olean, James (Betty) Becker of FL, and Melody (Tom) Whitaker of Groveland, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville, NY. . Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
