Obituary of Beverly A. Lowrey

Ossian- Beverly A. Lowrey age 77, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ early Friday morning October 26, 2012. She was born in Pillar Pointe, NY July 8, 1935, a daughter of the late Elmer and Rose Effie (Evans) Brown. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Rose Mary Schirmer and Rodney Brown. On July 31, 1954, she was married to her devoted and loving husband Charles H. Lowrey who survives. Bev worked with her husband Charlie at Lowrey's Auto Repair as the bookkeeper for many years; she was also a longtime Avon Representative. She attended faithfully the Valley Wesleyan Church in Canaseraga, where she was active with the Kid's Club and was a Sunday School Teacher for many years. She was also active with the Vacation Bible School at the Ossian Presbyterian Church. Surviving in addition to her husband Charlie, are her children, Doug Lowrey of York, Dan (Isabella) Lowrey of West Henrietta and Darla (David) Schwingel of Henrietta; two brothers, Richard (Luella) Brown and Ralph Brown both of Dansville; grandchildren, Stephanie (Brian) Knapp, Adam (Elizabeth) Lowrey, Tiffany (Carl) Shantz, Tara Lowrey, Rachel and Sara Schwingel, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am in the Valley Wesleyan Church in Canaseraga. Interment will be in Ossian Center Cemetery, Ossian. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
