Obituary of Corinne S. Shay

She was born in Lynn, MA, daughter of Emma and Denis McManus. She graduated from Mary Brooks Junior College and the New England Conservatory of Music, in Boston. Corinne served as a member of the Livingston County Board of Literacy Volunteers of America and as a member of the Livingston County Mental Health Board for many years.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Dr. Gordon Goewey and second husband, Howard Shay. She is survived by a sister Patricia Hayter; her children Lynne Goewey and Rev. Todd Goewey; step-children Lance (Sue) Shay, Greg Shay and Carol Shay (Douglas) Acomb; step-grandchildren Thomas, Andy, Nicholas, Jesse and Marygrace Shay, Angela Swain, Heather, Courtney and Matthew Acomb; step-great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Landon, Alex and Hailey.
Friends may call Monday 2 -3 pm with a service following calling at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St., Dansville. Online remembrances may be left atHindleFuneralHome.com.
