Mrs. Crane was my English teacher (and, favorite teacher) for at least 3 of my high school years in Canaseraga. During that time she made each of us feel that she cared how we were being moulded into adults, how we would "turn out" mattered to her. I can remember her always laughing with us and she made us all feel we were important to her. Many times, over the years since school, I've whispered a quiet little "thank you" to myself for things I had learned from her. Most of the kids I knew loved and respected her greatly. Often, in the past few years I've wondered how she was doing and where she was, I had always hoped she had enjoyed her retirement, she deserved a good one. For some of the things she put up with while we were in school she should be immediately named a saint. The world is a better place due to her being here. Mrs. Crane... one more time... THANK YOU. Isabel was my great-grandmother, and though I never really had a chance to talk to her. My dad has told stories of her holding me as a baby, and of her 'golf prowess'. I am extremely proud to say that she was my great-grandmother, and I hope that she will Rest in Eternal peace with my Great-grandfather.

My grandfather was Ted Zornow, Sr., Mrs. Crane's brother. When I was growing up, we lived next door to their mother and my great grandmother, Nellie Zornow. I remember times when Mrs. Crane would visit her mother ... I was very young and did not know her well but I recall what a beautiful and vivacious person she was. I also recall how happy my grandfather was on many of his birthdays when Mrs. Crane would remember him with a telephone call. I enjoyed reading about her golfing right up until age 95! What a full life she was blessed with. My best regards to her family.

Mrs. Crane was my high school English teacher in Canaseraga Central School. She was one of the best and most admired teachers I had. I learned so much from her, and she sparked my interest in literature. She made a big impact on all of her students.
Prayers and condolences to her family.

Mrs. Crane was one of the most inspiring and best-loved teachers at Canaseraga. Memories from her English classes are among my very best. I know I speak for the entire class of 1975 when I say she was deeply respected and our high school lives were so much richer for having had her as a teacher. Rest in peace Mrs. Crane, and our sincere condolences to your family. You will be missed.
