Wilson/Dansville- Unexpectedly on 9/17/11 at age 56 from injuries sustained in an accident. Widower of Kathryn (Rosso) Bennett. Father of Richard "Dick" (Char) Bennett of Dansville and Matthew Bennett at home. Grandfather of Courtney Lowe and Hannah Bennett. Son of Dick (Dorothy) Bennett of Sumter, SC. Brother of James (Jody) Bennett of Dansville and Kathie (Bill) Shepard of Piffard. Brother in-law of Nancy Bennett of Cohocton. Joe is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was predeceased by a brother John Bennett.
Calling hours Friday from 2 to 7:00 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church in Dansville. A fireman's prayer service will be held Saturday morning at church.
