Sparta- Kenneth B. "Ken" Hook age 73, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday afternoon December 16, 2012, following a short illness.
He was born in Shickshinny, PA on July 15, 1939, a son of the late Keith and Rebecca Buckalew Hook. On June 7, 1980, he was married to Linda "Lee" Berger Hook who survives.
Ken was an analyst for Thermo Spectronics in Rochester retiring in 2002. He was a US Army veteran serving from 1956 to 1959. In his free time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Conesus Legion.
Surviving in addition to his wife Lee are a daughter, Cheryl (Eric) Lieberman of Ontario, NY, two sons, Ken Hook of Henrietta and Bob Grosser also of Ontario, a sister Verda Hook of Pennsylvania and three grandchildren.
Friends may call Wednesday from 10:00am to 11:00am at the Sparta Center United Methodist Church where a service will be held at the completion of calling hours with the Rev. James Stevens officiating. Interment will be in Kiehle Cemetery, Sparta. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
