When I was in the first grade we lived next door to Aunt Dot with my Grandparents, her sister and brother-in-law.One early snowy morning I looked out my bedroom window and saw Aunt Dot's little poodle,CinCin,outside so on with my bathrobe and slippers and out the door I go to see her.Aunt Dot invited me in for hot chocolate,we sat and visited and I played with CinCin and I think she decided at that moment to give CinCin to me because she wasn't home alot and didn't have alot of time for her. I loved that dog so much, she grew up with me and I still had her when I got married! Even though I hadn't seen Aunt Dot in many years I always did and will have very fond memories of that snowy morning so long ago!

Dorothy - what a grand lady!
Witty, she wore her name tag upside down and would say it was to remember who she was! Make you smile every time you saw her.
What pleasant memories her name evokes. Blessings to Les, Jane and all the family.

Our sincere condolences at the loss of your mother. She was a pip--always with a joke or funny story. We have many fond memories of Dorothy and her talents as a hostess. She was a great colleague and we admired her talents as the school nurse. She will be missed in so many ways. So sad she didn't make it to her 97th!

Dorothy was one of the most amazing ladies I have ever known. Her sense of humor, smile, and wit drew you to her. I will always cherish the fun times with Dorothy. Dorothy gave so much of herself, time and energies to her volunteer work. I, along with many others, will miss you Dorothy. May God welcome you to Paradise and hold you in the palm of his hand.

Dear Les- We are sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I never did meet her, however her Chocolate Cake recipe remains a favorite in our family. I am certain that her legacy extends far and wide and that she is well loved by many, as are you. How blessed you are to have had her for so long. This does not diminish the pain of loss and our wish for you is peace in your heart. She surely will live in hearts and memories for all who knew and loved her.
Charlie joins me in sending our sincere condolences.
Love Deb
