West Sparta- Frances E. Wompole age 77, formerly of West Sparta passed away early Saturday morning February 18, 2012, at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris.
She was born in Sparta on March 12, 1934, a daughter of the late Harold and Lusina (McMaster) Jamison. On October 27, 1956, she was married to Glenn Wompole who predeceased her in 2010.
Frances is survived by her siblings, Barbara, Richard and Harold Jamison and her dear friend Marjorie Cansdale.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 10:00 am at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St., Dansville. Interment will be next to Glenn in Oak Lawn Cemetery, West Sparta. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
Memorial contributions may be made to the West Sparta United Methodist Church.
