Bob and Anne, So sorry to hear about mom. Have alot of fond memories of her and Franklin St. She always had a smile and had such a wonderful heart. She is in a much better place now--heaven-- and at peace.

We were lucky to have had Granny Clare to be there for all of us in the neighborhood throughout the years. Her loving and gentle example showed us how to be the best that we can be. And now it is our turn to emulate her legecy.

I remember Mrs. Easton's smiling face as she delivered Meals On Wheels when my parents were ill. She was already a woman in her mid-eighties at the time but she was very spry. My parents said she was still shoveling her own snow too! My condolences to her family as you mourn her passing but, also take time to rejoice in the wonderful life she had.
Sincerely, Pat Akins Sandler

I remember Mrs Easton. She was always very kind to me growing up. We visited Grandma and Grandpa Carney every summer and Miss Claribel was the first to say hi or wave and smile at me in the pews. I was so very fond of her and it saddens me that she has passed but I know she will be in a great place with Grandma&Grandpa,Rev Sheasley,Carl Vandenburg,Aunt Annabell and others. I will truly miss her kindness and that smile. Her smile lit up the room. She used to listen to my stories when i was little and it wasn't like someone just placating. She was genuinely interested in my stories. Even if it was to say that Grandpa took us riding on the tractor or we went and got ice cream. I will truly miss her greatly. it won't be the same coming to visit my mom and dad(Ann and John Davis) anymore. Miss Ann I am truly sorry for your loss. Your mom was a truly great woman who made a difference in many many lives. I can imagine the glorious homecoming she had going to meet her father. She is in a better place now with friends and family. May God wrap his arms around all of your family miss Ann and give you great comfort in your time of grief. RIP Mrs Easton I love you.
Sincerely,
Kelly (Davis) Eirich

When I think of Aunt Clare, the first thought that comes to mind is her smile. Such a sweet and caring woman. When she would come to the house to get her hair cut, she would always update us on family happenings (births, marriages, etc.). Before leaving she would reach for her purse and give my siblings and I a dollar bill for our piggy banks. (We loved it when Aunt Claire came!). She carried on this tradition with my boys when she saw them. Such a sweet, sweet woman. I love you Aunt Clare and will miss you dearly.
