A beautiful young girl who enjoyed the company of close friends. I will always remember Kalei's smile, laugh and how full of life she was. She will be missed but not forgotten.

I remember meeting this sweet young lady several years ago when we purchased a puppy for my son. She and her brother met us a work, with her mom of course, she was very sweet and delightful. It was only for a brief moment, but it is a memory that will last forever. Bless her.

The Dulaney Family were my neighbors for nearly nine years. I would hang out there almost every day during every summer. I became very good friends with those kids. Christian, Caleb, and Kalei became Brothers and Sister to me and they still are. The last place I wanted to see her was in a casket. Her family should be proud to have had her. And I am proud, just to have known her. She lived in a good community and is still loved by everyone in that community. Two things I will always remeber about her is her favorite quote from Happy Gilmore which was "I have a hockey record! I took my skate off and tried to stab somebody and i'm the only guy that ever did that" and how she used to give their dog treats when it did something to irritate me and Chris. We knew she wasn't doing it to be mean. It was just her sense of humor she always had. The most important part of her that I will remeber is how loving she was, how caring she was, how great she was with kids, and how she loved making people around her happy.

i remember when you lived in Casey`s house we did so many crazy things together because you were only a couple feet away. at byour 13th birthdat party it started to sprinkle and you, me, haylee, and alexis thought it would be a fun idea to get cups and dunk them in the pool and get each other wet! It was fun. we did many crazy things together. The one day we were bored and we decided to get chole and carter`s chalk and cover the whole porch, we never got to covering the whole porch because we were to busy writing on each other with the chalk even our faces. It was your 11th birthday party when went for a walk and we were on troys land and we went to go down "carefully" into the creek, well i let go of the tree before i grabbed Heather`s hand and fell into the creek. They all laughed and still laugh at me. Kalei was the best friend any person could ever ask for. If you were in a bad mood she would find a way to make you smile with her wonderful personality. I have your family in my prayers. Heather you had an amazing daughter.

Kalei was like a sister to me. She was a shining star. She was funny beautiful and a great person. When she looked at you with her blue eyes, it would brighten your day. Whenever I was having a bad day she would make me smile. Kalei was loved by soooo many people. She will be greatly missed. Her smile, her laugh, and her personality will. Ever be forgotten. I love you sooo much kalei

I remember Kalei waking me up at like 3 in the morning and asking me if i wanted chicken nuggets. Also walking to practice we used to eat peanut butter m&ms. When we could finish each other sentences and always say the same exact words at the same time. Now i will always carry those memories with me. Playing in the rain, passing notes in class, and waiting for each other before going to classes and home. I will always remember you as the playful, funny, silly, beautiful, and energized Kalei. Thanks for being my best friend. Love you sis.

I loved everything about Kalei. Her blues eyes, her laugh, her smile, and her hair. She didnt need make up. Heather you were blessed with a daughter that has no words that could explain how amazing she was. I didnt expect her to go at this age, And i certainly didnt think i would see her in the casket. I never said how much i cheerished the times i spent with her or said i love her in person. Im glad with my last words i said yesterday, which were i love you and i tried to smile and i knew she knew i meant what i said. Im glad she is watching over her family and friends.RIP Kalei Dawn Dulaney

I will always cherish the memories I have of Kalei and watching her grow up in Swain from a sweet young girl to a beautiful young lady. It seems like just yesterday the kids were all so little. I will miss having S'Mores and Chicken Wings at our bonfires but mostly I will miss that sweetness.
