Obituary of Mary Louise Struble

She was born in Mt. Morris on June 22, 1924, a daughter of the late John and Bessie (Walker) Gray. On August 10, 1945 she was married to Lowell Struble, who predeceased her in February of 1976 She was also predeceased by a daughter Sharon Andrews, a son in-law Donald Myers, and siblings, Donald, John, Kenneth, Robert and Ida Gray. Mary was an attendant at the Craig Developmental Center in Sonyea for twenty eight years retiring in 1979. She was a member of the Conesus American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Tuscarora Presbyterian Church. She loved to play cards and go to the casino. She is survived by her son, Richard (Yvonne) Struble of Springwater, two daughters, Esther Myers of Avon, and Sandra (Arthur) Lilley of Dansville, a son in-law, James Andrews of Avon, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, two great-great grandsons and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Monday from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville, where services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am with the Rev. James Stevens officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery in Scottsburg. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to the Country Lane Activity Fund at the Livingston County CFNR, 11 Murray Hill Drive, Mt. Morris, NY 14510.
