Dansville –Martin Albert (Marty) Foster age 67, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, January 3, 2014, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville.
He was born in Dansville, on June 11, 1946, a son of the late Harland and Evelyn (Welton) Foster Sr. He was also predeceased by his brother Harland Foster Jr.
Marty was a long time member of the Hook and Ladder Fire Company of the Dansville volunteer fire department. He was an active genealogy researcher for his family, and loved Facebook. He was a long time bus driver for Dansville Central School District, driving generations of children to school.
Surviving are his children; Angel Foster, Shannon (Michelle) Foster, Matthew (Deb) Foster, Andrew (Heather) Foster; two brothers Stephen (Judy) Foster, Dennis (Edith) Foster; four sisters, Barbara (Gary) Burley, Norma Jean (Donald) Sullivan, Cheryl Anne (Frank) Robson, and Becky Foster. Two grandchildren Dakota Goodrich, Hunter Foster, a sister in law Candice(Grose) Foster and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a gathering at the Hook and Ladder Fire Company, 26 Clara Barton St. Dansville on Sunday January 12th from 1:00pm-5:00pm
