Obituary of Jessie Mae Prevorce

She was born in Orwell, NY on July 14, 1922 a daughter of the late Arthur and Edna (Hughes) Holbrook. She was the widow of Lewis Gilbert and Williard F. Prevorce. She was also predeceased by her siblings Alice Mott, Viola Storelli, Nellie Harold, Shirley Greenfield, Frances Holbrook and a half brother Edward Fox.
Jessie was a member of the Dansville Free Methodist Church. She was a former employee of Pappas Brothers Cleaners in Dansville and the Lawyers Co-op in Webster. She was very well liked at the nursing home in Mt. Morris where she had resided for the past several years.
She is survived by her sisters; Mae (Joe) Taylor of Dansville, Betty Ketchel of Jamestown; brothers, Raymond (Eleanor) Holbrook of Geneseo and Charles (Pearl) Holbrook of Burns; a sister in-law Rosemary Fox of Dansville, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., where services will be held Thursday at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
