Dansville- Edward L. "Ed" Kuhn Jr., age 53 passed away unexpectedly on Sunday June 19, 2016.
He was born in Dansville, on April 20, 1963, a son of the Edward and Kathryn (Ashley) Kuhn.
Ed Kuhn, known by many as the “Gentle Giant”, has been traveling the country in an 18-wheeler for over 30 years and has made many friends across the country in his travels. While on the road he has been on his own personal mission: to be there for anyone at any time. Ed would move mountains to be where he felt he was needed and would always make time to stop in and see his family. He will always be remembered for his generosity, his big smile, his even bigger heart, his contagious laugh, and his love for music.
Ed is survived by his mother, Kathryn (Floyd) Burns of SC, his sisters, Lorna (Marty) Schledorn of Dansville, Brenda (Scott Hellinger) Kuhn of Wayland, his stepdaughter, Tracy Barrett,step grandchildren,Nikki Holder, Derek Holder, Courtney Holder, his stepbrothers, Anthony Burns of SC, David (Candice) Burns, James (Robin) Burns, John ( Stacey) Burns, Mark (Debbie) Burns all of KS, a nephew Teagan Cuddeback, nieces, Shirah Kuhn, Katie Schledorn, great nephew, Zayden Kuhn, ten great grandchildren, and many great friends.
Friends may call Friday from 4:00 to 7:00pm at Hindle Funeral Home, 271 Main St., Dansville. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00am in St. Mary's Church in Dansville. Online remembrances may be shared at HindleFuneralHome.com
