Dansville- David H. Pratt, age 69, of Chestnut Ave., in Dansville passed away Wednesday afternoon August 24, 2016, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
He was born in the Town of Alamont, NY, on September 13, 1946, a son of the late James and Lucille (Leno) Pratt. He was also predeceased by his step-father Hillyer Passmore, a brother Leon Passmore, and a niece Elizabeth Van Hyning.
David was a US Marine Corps. Vietnam Veteran serving from 1966 to 1970.
He is survived by a sister Sandra (Ed) Van Hyning, and a nephew, Christopher Van Hyning of Dansville.
Interment will be private in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville. Ref Hindle Funeral Home Inc., 271 Main St. Dansville. Online memories may be shared at HindleFuneralHome.com.
