Obituary of Edward F. Wing

Sparta- Edward F. "Ed" Wing age 78, passed away unexpectedly late Tuesday afternoon August 30, 2016, at Noyes Memorial Hospital. He was born in the Town of Burns, on April 25, 1938, a son of the late Melvin and Lillian (Dey) Wing. He was predeceased by a son Ed, and siblings, Lester, Floyd, and Melvin Wing. On July 27, 1957, he was married to Nancy Warner Wing, who survives. Ed worked as a tractor driver and in the wholesale order department at the former Kelly Brother's Nurseries in Dansville. In his free time he enjoyed tinkering on tractors and model electric trains. He is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Nancy, a daughter, Susan (Lynn) Reagle, two sons, Alan (Joy) Wing and Brian Wing, a sister, Evelyn (James) Pullar, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday from 4 to 8 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc., 271 Main St. Dansville, where services will be held Saturday at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Mt.
