Obituary of Phyllis T. Glover

Dansville- Phyllis T. Glover age 90, passed away early Saturday morning October 15, 2016, at the Livingston County CFNR in Mt. Morris, where she had been a resident for the past several years. She was born in the Town of Sparta on October 1, 1926, the daughter of the late Stuart and Elizabeth (Stoner) Thompson. On August 14, 1948, she was married to Robert G. Glover, who predeceased her on September 30, 1998. Phyllis was a longtime faithful member of the Dansville United Methodist Church. She was a volunteer and member of the Auxiliary at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville and a volunteer at the Vincent House in Wayland. She was employed at the former Charles Downey Accounting, Bennett and Associates Accounting and as a secretary at Instructor Publications. She is survived by her son, James (Jean) Glover, two daughters, Patricia (Karen Miller) Glover and Pamela Marullo, two brothers, Lloyd and Morris "Herkie" Thompson, four grandchildren, David (Lexi) Glover, Andrew (Danielle) Glover, Nicole and Kimberly Le Vasseur, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville. A funeral service will be held at the Dansville United Methodist Church on Wednesday at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Manilla Owen officiating. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville.
