Obituary of Fred R. Wood

Denver- Fred R. "Ted" Wood age 71, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017 in Denver Colorado.

He was born in Dansville, on September 26, 1946, a son of the late Robert and Dorothy (Young) Wood. He was also predeceased by a son Ivan.

Ted graduated from Elmira Southside High School and Colorado State University. A US Navy Veteran, he was stationed on an aircraft carrier in the Mediterranean Sea.

Ted is survived by his son, William (Konnie) Wood of Omaha, Nebraska, a sister, Nancy (Schuster) O'Hare of Peekskill, NY., a brother, William (Jill) Wood of Canandaigua, a nephew, Brett Wood of Livonia, and his former wife Janet (Kuhn) Wood of Denver, two step grandchildren, Madi and Jordan Henrickson and several cousins and friends.

A Graveside service will be held in Greenmount Cemetery Thursday November 2, 2017 at 12:00 pm. Arrangements by the Hindle Funeral Home Inc. 271 Main St. Dansville, NY. 14437. A prior service was held in Denver.
