Obituary of John R. Lemen

Dansville- John “Jack” Richard Lemen age 86, passed away Monday afternoon, March 26, 2018 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris following a long illness.

He was born in Dansville on May 7, 1931, a son of the late William Shelley and Florentine (Everman) Lemen. He was also predeceased by his twin sister Jane Ann Lemen, his other sister, Dorothy Rowe, his brothers, Frederick, Walter, and Theodore Lemen.

Jack Served honorably in the U.S. Army, he was stationed in California during the Korean Conflict.

Surviving Jack are his siblings, William (Margaret) Lemen, Lois Sanford, Mary Kay Lemen, sister-in-law, Mary Margaret (Peg) Lemen, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday April 2, at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Church in Dansville. Interment to follow with full military honors in Holy Cross Cemetery, Dansville.
