Obituary of Norma Elizabeth Cotton

Dansville- Norma Elizabeth Cotton, age 95, passed away Friday evening, June 15, 2018 at her home in Dansville following an illness.

She was born in Dansville, on December 8, 1922, a Daughter of the late Henry and Madeline (Bricks) Heiman. She was also predeceased by her husband Donald Cotton Sr., a son, Donald Cotton Jr., her sister, Marion Hursh, her brothers, Robert, William, and James Heiman.

Norma was a graduate of Groveland Central School class of 1940, she went to work for AC. Delco of Rochester as a parts assembler for over 25 years. She was a longtime member of the United Auto Works union. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church of Perkinsville. 

She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Keith) Griese, a sister Rita Templeton, a brother Gerald (Roseann) Heiman, her grandchildren, Krista (Keith) Macomber, Donald (Bonnie) Cotton III, Ricky (Ann) Cotton, Bill (Amy) Cotton, Bonnie (Tim) Schuster, Shawn (Tara) Griese, Shannon (Tricia) Griese, 18 great-grandchildren, one great great-grandson, a daughter-in-law Lori Cotton, a sister-in-law, Lois Heiman, and several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Mary Kay Horr and her crew for all of the excellent care given to Norma.

Friends may call Tuesday June 19^th from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St., Dansville, A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday June 20^th 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church of Perkinsville.
