I was so saddened to read the passing of Lois! I met and have known Lois for the eight years she resided at Morgan Estates. She used to pass by my desk while walking to each meal, stop and chat about our days, our lives and our families.
I remember the day I shared of my retirement plans with her and later that day found her resting on the bench behind my office. I sat next to her and asked if she was okay. She responded with "No, I don’t know what I will do without you here anymore." We sat togther and chatted for a while, continuing to reassure her that it would be okay...I loved being at Morgan Estates and she couldn’t get rid of me that easily! I would be staying on as Per Diem and volunteering every Tuesday in Activities. She smiled and said, "Well, that’s good, at least I will see you then.”
I will miss you Lois.
For Lois family...please know that you all are in my thoughts, my prayers, and most of all, my heart in these most difficult days ahead. May the memories we share with you help heal the place deep inside your heart where tears are born. My deepest sympathy in your loss.

Lois was my mother's best friend for many years. I knew her all my life and have many fond memories of her and Howard. After Gloria passed, I would call her every Sunday night and we'd have a nice talk. I enjoyed visiting her at Morgan Estates. Her family meant everything to her and she was very proud of her four beautiful daughters and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lois was a wonderful woman who will be greatly missed!
