Obituary of Daniel Eric Detmer

Daniel Eric Detmer "Dan" age 51, died unexpectedly at Strong Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born in Rochester, December 26, 1967, a son of Donald and Vera Detmer. He was predeceased by his mother Vera and his brother Matthew.

A longtime employee of Catenary Construction, he loved his work, was good at what he did and liked being busy.

Dan spent most of his time outside, being with his friends, riding his motorcycle and enjoying life.

He is survived by his father Don, son, Ian, daughter, Rhyan, and loving companion Stephanie as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life for Dan will be held at Livonia American Legion  Post #283 on March 9, 2019 at 2:00pm. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville at the convenience of family. Ref. Hindle Funeral Home, 271 Main St. Dansville. Online condolences may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
