Obituary of Robert Sauerbier

He was born in Dansville on August 8, 1941, a son of the late Charles and Gertrude (Pressler) Sauerbier Sr. He was also predeceased by a sister Patricia, and a brother Charlie Sauerbier.
Robert was a paper deliverer for the Avon Penny Saver and the Democrat and Chronicle in Rochester. He was a member of a stamp and coin collecting club in Dansville, and enjoyed model trains and watching TV.
He is survived by his his daughter Patricia Sauerbier; four sisters Jean (Don) Frantello, Betty (Robert) Voss, Jane Absolom, Joyce Sauerbier, a sister in- law Dolores Sauerbier and his dear friend Virginia Watson.
Friends may call Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St. in Dansville, where a service will be held at the completion of calling hours. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery West Sparta. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
