As we must go forward, we will celebrate your life that was on this earth and by the Grace of God, we rejoice in knowing that you now have a heavenly body and will never again feel pain. I will remain thankful that I had the opportunity to know you and I thank you for the encouragement and unconditional love you gave to "all" your children; and especially to Paul, which made him the Man he is today and I'm so proud to have as my Husband. I know that Dad will think of you each and every day and will miss you sorely but I know that the memories you both made will fill the "hole" in his heart and carry him thru his remaining days on this earth until he meets you again, in Heaven, which will be a blessed reunion...Thank you Barb for your kindness and you'll always have a place in my heart...

James and Gwen Derrenbacher posted a condolence
Jim remembers how Barb was so faithful when Carol (his wife) was so ill and Barb's faithfulness in helping out and supporting him as well as the family times shared.
Gwen so appreciated Barb remembering Ethel Masters and Marion Geens with flowers each year on special occasions. She made her former Sunday School teachers feel appreciated. She was always so thoughtful and appreciative of others. She was a special person and will always be fondly remembered. We want to extend our love and sympathy to the family.

It was a very special day for my father,John Stout, (Barb's cousin) when he regained contact with this wonderful side of the family that he had lost touch with. I'll never forget his excitement as he told us about it & his anticipation about the reunion. How he enjoyed those & that totally awesome Thanksgiving gathering with everyone that one year. So did I! I remember my joyful surprise when I went to that first reunion & discovered that this amazing woman I knew through Grace Baptist Church & the pharmacy where I worked was related to me! Barb was a very warm & caring person. When my Dad died I can still almost hear her say to me, "I just wish there was something I could do for you kids." She always thought of others. I always got a kick out of John carrying her purse around for her. He was proud to do it! Barb was very special, very loving & very giving. Although I will miss her, I am thankful her suffering has come to an end. She is now in the arms of her Savior & celebrating with all her loved ones who went before her. My sincere condolences to John & Barb's huge family who she loved with all her heart. May God grant you the comfort & peace that only he can give as you carry on. You are her legacy.
