I was very good friends with Theresa in high school but have not seen her in many years. Theresa was kind hearted and always had a way to make me laugh. My deepest sympathies go out to her family and especially her mom, Connie. My thoughts are with you. Peace.

It is weird because I thought about Theresa the other day, just out of the blue. I have not spoken to Theresa in years, as I have lost touch with most of my friends from NY. Theresa and I were friends for several years in school and some of my fondest memories are of skiing at Swain with her. I remember one night in particular...I had just gotten my drivers license and I was driving us home after a night of skiing when it began to snow. It was coming down so hard I could barely see the road. As a new driver I began to panic and just wanted to pull over. Theresa encouraged me to keep going, as we both had curfews, and she helped me navigate the whole way home. She gave me the strength and courage to keep going. I remember her that way~strong, determined and courageous, To her friends and family~ I am so sorry for your loss and wish I could be there to pay my respects to a childhood friend. I hope you can take comfort in knowing that she touched many lives and is still remembered fondly by her old friends. Sarah in California

Theresa will always remain in a special place within my heart. She was the closest friend I've had in a very long time and I don't know what I will do without her in my life. She was the most caring, loyal, generous and thoughtful person I have ever met. She knew how much I loved my family because she loved her mom just as much, in the same way...we were unique like that. I thought we would have each other forever. Never take for granted the time you have with the ones you truly love. I thought about her everyday and I will always remember her. She brought a smile to my face, happiness in my heart and confidence to pursue my dreams. We were going to travel as Nurses together... How can I do this without you, Theresa? I will do it for you...for us both. I miss you so much. I feel numb. My heart has been shattered into a million pieces. In the short time that I knew you, you made me realize that I was worth something...that I had something to live for. I thought I could help you as well... I'm so sorry. I will always love you like a sister I never had. No one will ever take your place in my life. I wish you knew how much I loved you, T. Be the angel on my shoulder. I want you with me always. Rest in peace, beautiful.

Sorry to hear of your loss, it is always hard when a family member or friend dies. It is especially sad to have a life so young cut short. Theresa will be remembered by all who knew her.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Theresa was a very kind and polite woman. I remember helping her start her car at Swain years ago and how quick she was to say thank you. That seems automatic to many people to just say thank you. But, when you take a second to look under the hood so to speak and see the values that were present in the heart whose motives are pure it is impressive. Again, sorry for your loss.
