Obituary of Philip Nicholas Comardo

Dansville- Philip "Nick" Comardo Jr. age 74, passed away late Thursday evening August 20, 2020, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's. He was born in Dansville, on March 1, 1946, a son of the late Philip and Norma (Mclaughlin) Comardo. He was also predeceased by three sisters, Kay Cannon and twins Joy Van Scooter and Judy Sundwall. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 49 years, Linda Yeoman Comardo. Nick was retired from Rochester Telephone/Frontier Communications in 1996, where he was a Garage mechanic. He was a US Army veteran serving form 1965-1968. He was a member of the Frank Casbolt Post # 6780 of the VFW and the Daniel Goho Post # 87 of the American Legion. He was a member of the Conesus Lake Riders Motorcycle Club. In his free time, he enjoyed playing Euchre, bowling and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. For many years he was the youth bowling coach at Mt. Morris Lanes. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Linda, a daughter Nikki Copeland of Geneseo, a grandson Caleb Copeland of Geneseo, a brother Louis Comardo of Dansville and several nieces and nephews.
