Obituary of Marjorie Morsch

Dansville- Marjorie Elizabeth Morsch age 94, passed away Thursday evening October 15, 2020, at her home in Dansville, from natural causes with her daughter Theresa by her side. She was born in Dansville on May 31, 1926, a daughter of the late Clair and Ruth (Young) Rawleigh. She was also predeceased by her husband, Arthur “Art”, a son Kenneth, a sister Betty Kirby and a brother, Dewitt Rawleigh. Marjorie was a home maker, she spent her time raising her and art’s five children, and some of her grandchildren. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church of Dansville, and a Eucharistic minister delivering communion to those who were homebound. She was a member of the legion of Mary, and Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, swimming, and making her Elizabeth St. famous homemade pizzas. Surviving Marjorie are her, two daughters Joan (Martin) Neenan, Theresa (Kevin) Allison, two sons, Ron (Mary Kay) Morsch and Roger Morsch, nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Monday October 19, at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Church in Dansville. Interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Dansville. A luncheon and time for fellowship will follow the graveside service at 1:00pm at the Dansville Fish and Game Club Gibson St. Dansville.
