Obituary of William C. Sanders

Dansville- William C. "Bigfoot" Sanders age 69, passed away early unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon at his home in Dansville. He was born in Dansville on August 18, 1951, a son of the late Wilburn L. and Isabelle (Freas) Sanders Sr., He was also predeceased by a son Russell "Thor" Garrison, a brother Jr. Sanders and a brother in-law Tink Beardsley. On May 15, 1993, he was married to Pat Garrison Sanders, who survives. Billy was a yard sale enthusiast at his home. In his free time he enjoyed mowing, listening to music, playing cards and going for walks. He was a longtime member of the NRA. Surviving in addition to his wife Pat are his children, Jimmie Sue (Russell) Schutz, Donald (Heather) Sanders, Michael (Chrissy) Garrison, Thomas (Jen) Garrison; a sister Judy Beardsley and a sister in-law Debbie Sanders. Ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. A graveside service will be held Monday May 24 at 11:00am at Greenmount Cemetery in Dansville.
